James graduated as a Physiotherapist from La Trobe University and has since worked in a variety of private practice and sports settings across Melbourne.
 
As an active member of the APA and SPA, he utilizes up-to-the-minute knowledge of the latest research and treatment techniques.  James applies a hands-on approach to his treatment, while his postural correction and movement re-training aids to prevent injury recurrence.  James has a particular interest in midback and neck treatment, including its relationship to further biomechanical issues.
 
James plays tennis at a high level and has coached for over 5 years.  Through personal experience he developed an interest in shoulder biomechanics, especially in perfecting serving technique to avoid shoulder injury.   In addition to shoulder rehabilitation, he has a passion for knee and ankle injuries associated with AFL football, rugby union, and skiing.  
 
In the near future, James aims to complete further post-graduate qualifications in musculoskeletal physiotherapy.
