Completing Masters Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy

 

Angus completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (Human Movement) before completing his Physiotherapy degree at La Trobe University in 2001. He is currently completing his final year of his Masters in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy.

 

Since graduating, Angus has worked within the Royal Melbourne Hospital for 5 years, establishing the role of advanced scope practitioner in the soft tissue injury clinic. This position has enabled Angus to diagnose and manage knee and ankle injuries alongside some of Melbourne's leading orthopaedic surgeons.

 

Angus spent 2004/2005 living and working in London treating a variety of musculoskeletal and sporting conditions in private practice. Whilst there he also undertook research in clinical Pilates. He has also trained in clinical Pilates and understands the importance of an exercise based treatment approach in restoring normal motor control. Angus has clinical interest in injuries associated with the spine, knee and ankle and has extensive experience with post operative rehabilitation. Having played in both VFL and A Grade amateur football leagues has developed his personal interest in diagnosing and treating lower limb injuries.
