Andrew attended LaTrobe University and completed his Physiotherapy degree in 1999.  Over the past 10 years Andrew has acquired a broad knowledge of musculo-skeletal physiotherapy and sports medicine throughout Australia and the UK.  
 
In 2000 Andrew was awarded a graduate position at Royal Melbourne Hospital working both in Orthopaedics and ICU.  During 2001 Andrew accepted a position at the Royal Darwin Hospital to train in the post-surgical and sports orthopaedic department. Whilst working in the Northern Territory Andrew developed a passion for Aboriginal Health and spent the following year based in Derby/Broome working in remote North Western Australia assisting the Royal Flying Doctors Service.
 
In 2003/4 Andrew travelled abroad working in London and Manchester where he continued to develop his manual skills.  Before returning to Australia to join South Melbourne Physiotherapy Clinic Andrew successfully completed his acupuncture training in Cambridge which has enabled him to practise here.
 
In addition to becoming director of SMPC Andrew has maintained an interest in current physiotherapy research.  Whilst continuing his passion for treatment of sports injuries Andrew's practise now encompases all management of spinal pain, with particular interest in segmental instability of the spine in both lower back pain and headaches.
