Prayer Rooms are available in building 9 (Religious Centre).

Mosque
A mosque is located at 16 Beddoe Avenue, which is adjacent to the university.
All 5 daily prayers are conducted at the Beddoe Avenue Mosque.
Jum'ah starts at 1:15 and finishes at 1:50.
In Ramadan Taraweeh Prayers are conducted with khatm (complete recitation of the Qur’an).

Halal Food
There are two officially Halal restaurants at Monash Clayton. Both meet strict guidelines placed by MUIS and the Mosque Committee. MUIS has the power to conduct surprise spot checks on operation to ensure not only that the food is Halal, but also that the staff guide the customers to the Halal food.
1) Laziza Kebab located under the Hargrave Library (Building 30) is a 100% Halal Restaurant. It follows stringiest conditions set by the Mosque Committee and MUIS.
2) Meeting Point also has a section for halal food. This section is clearly marked and the staff can help you in this matter. Meeting Point is located opposite STA travel in the western part of the Campus Centre (Building 10) on the ground floor.
All Halal food is prepared separately using utensils used exclusively for Halal food. The chefs and staff are all trained in the handling of Halal food.
3) The Halls of Residence café is also Halal as per Mosque Committee and MUIS conditions.
