IQRA means 'read' or 'recite' in Arabic. It is the first word of the Qur'an that was revealed and one of the primary activities of those who wish to seek knowledge.
IQRA will be published monthly during the semester inshaAllah (Allah willing).
The Prophet Muhammad (saw) said: ‘A servant of Allah will remain standing on the Day of Resurrection until he is asked about four things; his life and how he spent it, his youth and how he used it up, his property and how he acquired and spent it, and his knowledge and how he utilized it’ (Al-Biraz and At-Tabarani)
