Salsa on South Lawn '06 was a great success, with three food stalls, salsa and merengue music, and dance lessons. Organised by Intermediate Spanish students as a way to contribute to Co-operation 21, they built on the experience of the organisers' effort the year before to create an event even more vibrant, exciting and alegre. LASA was there to help out, and a great time was held by all. It succeeded as a way to promote the Spanish language, Hispanic community and Co-operation 21 to the University of Melbourne community.
