Cooperation 21 is a non-for-profit organisation that aims to create a community of young like-minded people that have an interest in Latin American culture. It does
this through social events, educational and volunteering programmes, as well as through
community and commercial services.
Our website provides access to volunteer opportunities in Spanish-speaking communities locally and overseas; educational support; community engagement; and work experience in Spanish-speaking organisations. Our vision is to bring together the various existing Hispanic groups and strengthen the sense of community amongst all interested parties.

Co-operation 21 works in partnership with various volunteer organisations and other groups to foster community engagement and student motivation. We believe in social responsibility and the compatibility of this with education. This programme highlights the mutual benefits of volunteering. It encourages students to contribute to the community while also taking their second language study out of the classroom, in turn enhancing cultural awareness and the learning experience.
